I love simple Christmas crafts with my Mini, the ones that remind me of my own childhood. I remember year after year making Pinecone Christmas Trees with various craft items around the house with my mom. I knew it would make a fun craft for us to do this year, and we added another fun touch by making green! If it sounds like something your little one would love check out the post below…
Pine Cone Christmas Trees
Supplies needed for Pine Cone Christmas Trees
Pine cones, various sizes
Dark green craft paint
Small craft pom poms
Directions for Pine Cone Christmas Trees
1. Place the pine cones on scrap paper and apply 3-4 coats of the dark green paint. Because of the darkness of the pine cones, you will need several coats of paint to color them. Be sure to let the paint dry well between coats.
2. Once the paint is dry, you can add the crafting pom poms as ornaments. Just dab glue on them and press into place.
3. Continue until the pine cones are decorated to your liking.
Your pine cone Christmas trees are now ready to be displayed.
Optional: Feel free to sprinkle with glitter or even glue on some ribbon for hanging.
