I like trying new curriculum with Mini. It can be hard finding new ones that she likes. She loves hands on Study Units and I love when products click with her. We’ve both been loving this hands on history program HISTORY Through the Ages Project Passport World History Study: Ancient Greece from Home School in the Woods really worked well for us.

Hands on Projects
Mini and I love hands on projects, which is exactly what this Ancient Greece study is. You get to go back in time and study an important part of history, but be hands on about it.
Teacher’s Guide Book
Something that I can really appreciate about this Ancient Greece study is there is a Teacher’s Guide. Mama is not as young as she used to be. It’s important to have a guide to help me through some each of the lessons.
What we loved about this hands on History program:
This Unit study on Ancient Greece is very through. It’s not a study that will need extras to round it out. It has everything you need! You can print everything ahead of time so that you are organized. Getting organized ahead of time allows you to focus on each lesson rather than spending time each day getting the next lesson ready.
I love the Student Binder. It keeps all of your child’s work organized and is a great keepsake for your child. Mini likes having something to show for her work.
We both loved that it was easily customizable. You do not have to do each and every activity suggested for each lesson. While Mini likes hands on activities, having to many can easily overwhelm her. I like that even if we skipped some activities, there was plenty left for each lesson.
Mini loves audio books so it’s not a surprise that she loved the Dramatized Audio Tours. There are 8 of them with over an hour of listening fun! You can download and listen to a sample in the tabs at the bottom of this page
What we didn’t like about this hands on History program:
The biggest dislike for me was also what I loved: there’s A LOT to this study! It can easily overwhelm you if you do not take the time to prepare. There’s a lot to print. If you’re not prepared to print a lot then I would suggest a run to your favorite printer. We live in the country so I’m prepared with two printers.
I honestly can’t think of any other dislike and that’s saying a lot.
HISTORY Through the Ages Project Passport World History Study, has several other studies to choose from. Ancient Egypt, The Middle Ages, Renaissance & Reformation and coming in 2018 Ancient Rome.
With so little dislikes we will definitely be looking at more of them in the future.
