Creating The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever Cookie doesn't take long at all. Kids really enjoy getting in the kitchen with us and this recipe is an easy one for them to create and enjoy with you. Mini loves to cook and create so I really try to add that to any Unit Study we are working on. This is perfect for any Christmas Unit Study you may be doing.
The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever Cookie
Use a box mix, roll sugar cookie dough out on a greased baking sheet or use parchment or a silpat to line.
Let your child cut out a tree shape with a combination of hands, rolling pin, and a disposable knife- making dough between ¼ “ to ½” Bake according to package directions.
If your cookie spreads and loses its shape to much, just trim it up with a butter knife!
Allow to cool completely.
Whisk together powdered sugar and very small amount of milk until you reach desired consistency. Add a couple drops of green food coloring.
Once cookie is cool, spread icing on with a spatula. Decorate with small candies or sprinkles.
Now The Biggest Christmas Tree Ever Cookie is ready to enjoy.
